What operators ask about digital twins (straight answers)

Is it IoT theater? Do I need sensors day one? How is this different from a dashboard? Clear answers for owners evaluating twins.

Is a twin just a fancy dashboard?

No. A dashboard charts metrics. A twin models the thing — bins, routes, campuses, bays — so you can see state, simulate draws, and act. Charts can sit on top; they are not the twin.

Do I need sensors on day one?

Helpful, not mandatory. Start with tickets, assignments, and honest manual status. Add depth sensors when recon pain pays for them. Model first; instrument next.

Will this become another SaaS?

Not how we work. Production twins are engagements you own with day-one IP. Marketing demos are free to explore; your facility is not locked in a seat meter.
